Rising Swami II is our developmental level group, generally swimmers are between the ages of 8-12, who can complete a series of 25 yards (freestyle or backstroke) with continued development of breaststroke and butterfly. The main emphasis of this group is stroke mechanics in the four competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle) and the basics of competitive swimming. We will also emphasize kicking, streamlines, racing starts, and turns in this group. Rising Swami II meets four times per week, and swimmers are required to make at least three of these practices.
